Same mold differnt company

Hi ,guys

 

Does plastic shell of the ski boot for company x be using the same mold & plastic as company Y.

 

 If so a skier that had a ski boot shell that suited thier needs best could price compare if they knew which companies used that mold & plastic.

 

The bladders (liners) all being made similar coming from 1 or maybe a few companies & if so can a boot from one company have the exact same shell & liner from another comany except for coametics i.e., colour buckles etc

 

 I have a pair of 2009 nordica dobberman 120 ski boot 325 sole length from that info  can an exact same boot be found perhaps made by a differnt company with perhaps only cosmetics being differnt. If so what modle & brand would be the same

not quite sure what you are trying to achieve...but

 

very few companies share molds, the only one i can think about would be rossignol and lange who share the RS/ radical shell mold

 I have cracked the plastic shells on 2 sets of Nordica boots. 1st pair Nordica hot rods ( I think 130 flex)  ( each crack after about 70 days of skiing) Nordica replaced the first pair with the dobbies & I hope they replace the secound pair that has less then 100 days of skiing & is still under warrenty if they dont I will be looking for a replacement. I like the boot but am verry frustrated that it keeps cracking I am 51 yrs old 165 lbs verry agressive short brush carved turns, never hit jumps, bindings set on 6, ski hill 126ft vertical in Ontario

 

 Few boots to try in my area so I was thinking of buying something similar if they do not get replaced if I can find something cheap enough.
