The rich text editor is not compatible with your browser. You may see some HTML source displayed. Any BBCode you enter will be converted to HTML when you save.

Does it disappear after a little bit or stay there? It shows that on my iPhone too, but disappears after 10 seconds or so of loading.

I have version 11 on the Laptop and have to use BBcode to reply.  Using version 10.0.2 the Rich Text Editor works.  Firefox has a history for releasing updates with little or no advance notice, and recently has made several updates in rapid succession.  The Rich Text Editor which relies on Flash has been affected by these updates before.

The issue has been reported to our server partner Huddler, and apparently, Chrome is being affected as well.  I'll report back when Huddler gives us a date to push a fix.

Ya, it's not a show stopper for me at the moment, just a tad annoying. It all seems to work well enough to function, just looks a bit odd with background code popping in sometimes.

Engineering is looking into this glitch -- it's platform-wide and looks to be happening on all browsers.

This fix was rolled out yesterday afternoon.  The Rich Text Editor is done by CKEditor (http://ckeditor.com/) and as such when things go wonky Huddler has to figure out what's happening on their side. So, apparently the text editor is a third party product.  We've seen it have problems in the past  and I'm sure we will see minor issues again in the future. On behalf of Epicski, we apologize for any inconvenience.
