I bought a 3 degree swix file guide. I have clamps.
So, what kid of file do I buy to use with it? I've seen long files, short files, thin files, and thick files. I tried to do some research on my own (such as in Racewax.com tuning tips, but didn't really find an answer).
If someone can let me know what kind of file to buy, I would be greatly appreciative.
I have another question, but don't want to start another thread. I own a brown/reddish gummi stone. It basically feels like hard rubber. Anyway, I just want to clarify that this is for deburring (with light 45 degree pressure), and NOT for detuning? Hypothetically, what would HARD pressure with the red gummi do?
Back to files... should I go with bastard, chrome, or panzer? And, does the length, thickness, or width really matter much?
