Too bad about the weather Pete. Very unusual patterns. Of course now that we have a 140" snow pack and Winter has arrived they will close the ops in May. We have year round skiing just up the road but a guy has to work a few months during the year.:-(

Those look like dangerous conditions at Bachelor. Not from avalanches, but when the snow is that deep you have to be careful or you can end up exhausting yourself walking through the flatter terrain.

Here we have a class in Slogging.  To make (one's way) with a slow heavy pace against resistance.

Falling in this type of condition is not suggested.
