Ski length question

I'm a 45 yo 130 lb female advanced skier. I used to ski on 180cm back in the day, but I'm currently on 155cm Fisher Vision Vapors. I'm looking at Volkl's which size 154cm and 161cm. I'm on the east coast and ski groomers, ice, crud and some powder which usually isn't more than a few inches. Do you think I should go with 154cm or 161cm? Thanks!

Not sure, still researching. I really like my Fishers. Any recommendations?

If you like your Fischers and they serve the purpose you need, why do you want to replace them? And if you don't have a specific model in mind, why Volkl specifically?

To answer your question, its sort of a personal preference. A longer ski will have a longer turn radius but in general will provide more float and allow more aggressive carving (stability). I don't know your height, but 154cm is a pretty short ski. For all mountain purposes and general versatility in turn style/choice I would go with 161cm.

In the end though, asking about ski lengths is like asking about how much travel to get on a bike. Its more dependent on you and how you ski, along with what you intend to ski, then an outside opinion.
