I was pretty set on getting the DPS Hybrid W112RPs, but the tempting prices of the Bibby Pros going on sale right now have me thinking the other way. I can get a pair of Bibbys for ~520$, and w112rps are 800$. Should I wait for next years w112rps, and get them then at full price, or get this year's Bibbys on sale? Are the w112rps worth the extra 300$? This will be a one ski quiver for crudbusting (Bibbys win here?), tree skiing (112rp wins here, close tie?), and some limited groomer use (112rp wins here?). Anyone got any advice?

I have the rp. And love them but I would hardly call it a one ski quiver ski. Then again I would say the same about the bibby. Personally if I had a gun to my head and only that to get ski for everything. I would get a 98-108 mm rocker ski with a flatter tail and some camber. Then rent a demo ski for those deep pow days. But that's me. a ski that comes to mind is the bacon (minus the flatter tail) bonifide or Cochise.

I like fat skissmile.gif. I started out with a 98mm Rossi S3, but then switched over to the 115mm Armada JJs. For the type of skiing I do mostly, they are so much more worth it. I also live out West.
