I want to learn to tele. Where can I get cheap gear?

I'm a snowboard instructor and have been riding for 13 years, alpine'd before then from 3-10 years old but was never very good.  I'm looking for cheap tele gear, most importantly boots as I can find ski's and bindings much easier in breckenridge.  I wear a size 12 to 12.5 shoe but dropped to a size 11 snowboard boot.  Somewhere between 11 and 12 US mens size should work well.  Thanks for the help, full set up would be even better.  And as I said, I'm a snowboard instructor so I don't have much for a budget.

If you're in the biz, any leads by asking your fellow instructors or partnered shops to your mountain for pro-pricing? I would start there and try to network your way into a deal. Heck, maybe someone from patrol will loan you old skis to learn on.
