Well, I made it through surgery without any problems (thankfully!). Once the orthopod got in, he realized he had to repair my medial and radial menisci. The doc wasn't expecting that as the initial injury didn't really involve my meniscus. I think the that damage resulted from two falls I took after the initial injury: one when I was 8.5 months pregnant and scrambling up and down step ladders and another from after the baby when I was playing volleyball. I had a brace on for the latter, but I tweaked it pretty hard. So, short story long, the surgery was more involved than we expected.
I asked for a DVD, but they "forgot." Bummer. However, I was told that they took a ton of pics, so I think I'll get those at my follow up appointment. For now, here are a few that MrDSloan took with the iPhone:

Okay, off to the Land of Nod. I just took to Oxycodon . . . can't wait to see how this post turns out when I reread it when I'm NOT high.
