my DH boots are head vector 90/100s. Seeking greater comfort/precision I swapped out the stock liners for intuition Powerwraps?, the ones that came standard with Scarpa Tornados and had them baked at a shop.
These certainly felt better and fixed a few hot spots on my feet but stiffened up the boot somewhat. My question is by how much?
I just want to get a feel for how a boot of a certain flex feels as I go forward in my skiing journey. So if the boot was a 90 flex with stock liners would it now have similar flex to a 100, a 110 or maybe a 91!
I know its just a number and the numbers are not uniform across different models and makers but as I said Im trying to build my own frame of reference as to what different flex indexes feel like and which ones may work best for me.
These were my first custom boots, at 28.5 they were three sizes smaller than the 31.5s the rental shops had put me in the last 3 seasons!
thanks for any help
