2012 Spring back to Vail ticket pricing?

Any word on this yet? It runs from the 9th-15th of April. They usually have reasonable rates if you buy in advance and ski multiple days.
I just checked and they still have closing week ticket rates at $92. Give me a break! They also don't have many of the events announced yet.

Last I knew they stopped the ticket only discounts 2 seasons ago.  The discount tickets are only available with lodging packages.

Well, considering regular tickets are now $111 (WTF?) that's still a bit of a discount.  In a bad snow year, once there's finally good snow to ski on, don't expect a huge discount.

I think the may have done it last year, at least according to this 3/17/11 post

I haven`t seen anything for this year...

That kind of surprises me that tickets that late wouldn't be less expensive. Just reinforces the Epic Pass if you're going to ski Vail Resorts is the only way to go. Looks like even if you're going to ski late season for a week it (Epic Pass) saves you $$.

I emailed them and was told that they will not be doing the $199 pricing this year. When I emailed back to ask if there was going to be ANY different pricing other than $92 a day and $444 for 6 days she said that as far as she knew the prices would not change for the remainder of the year.

I guess I'll be staying in Vail (free) and skiing everywhere BUT Vail.

Closing day at Vail is usually a lot of fun- I have my cousin and his daughter in town then, but was going to try and make it over that day and will likely have a $69 buddy ticket or ski with a friend tix (variable pricing) left on my pass...happy to offer them up, but can`t commit to a time at this point.
