There is a whole boot forum, but people are going to say that you need to see if it fits your foot. That is the most important thing. You shouldn't do this over the internet. If you go to a shop with a good bootfitter, they can help find the right boot that matches your foot.

First, go to a shop with someone who knows how to fit a boot.  He or she can narrow down the selection for you based off your needs and shape of your foot and lower leg.  There is a good chance that you may be upgraded from so called beginner boots.

Since you asked, the Tecnica Mega 6 is a bucket boot.  It is very roomy and cushy.  If that is what you want and the boot fits, it could be the boot for you.  If you want something so you can improve and have for a long time, you may want to consider an upgrade.  Let the bootfitter help you out on that.
