Depends.

If you drink enough bacon bourbon such that you require the use of "depends" - then you probably dont need to be taken for a walk...

Have called the airlines for information on traveling with an infant . . .

Okay, not as exciting as the previous two posts. I'll up my game.

Absolutely --  and it takes way more balls to travel with infants on airlines than ... than ... than ... most anything.

Tolerance levels?  I am insulted.  I keep my alcohol tolerance level high at all times ;)

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but A-Basin is closing this Sunday, May 6.  There just isn't enough snow.

This is good news!  We won't be distracted from our tolerance-ing by skiing.  Finndog might get to test his fire suit yet!  And besides, now we won't be hampered by pesky lift lines, we can simply walk up and ski down.

In other news, for those of us that need to rent a car at DEN...  There has been a price war in the last week, rental for a midsize car has gone from $36 a day to $14.  Boom.  Not quite as good at the Chevy Traverse that I got for $7 a day last year, but not too shabby.

X2..now we don't have to put the box on the car...just what we will save in fuel economy alone will pay for some (yes some) of the liquor.

A-Basin was empty today, other than about 10 Epic skiers, a group of snowboarders and at least one World Cuper.  Several were debating about biking or skiing MD Weekend- I guess the decision is made.  FWIW, things skied nicely today at the Bob Peters May Day Gathering- a good group and some good snow on the limited terrain that was open.  I assume that some pictures will be posted at some point.

The article did not mention the status of the May Concert Series event for MD Weekend.

5/12/2012 Saturday May Concert Series - Steven Mack Band
5/12/2012 Saturday 8th Annual Red Ball Beach Bash

There is a rumor that the Keystone Golf Course will open before the previously announced May 17 date,  The Ravens is already fully open as is the Breck driving range.

Breckenridge has opened 9 and will open the back 9 by then too.

Was that today?  I was there yesterday and I saw one guy coming to the range as I was leaving, but nobody other than maintenance guys on the course.  FWIW, Breck has 27 holes when everything is open (and Keystone 36)

I heard there is a foam pit for practicing park n' pipe stuffs at Copper... might they do an ad hoc group rate?

Actually pretty stoked to check out the mountain biking in Summit County! I have yet to ride up there. Is there climbing up there? Any of you guys climb? :)

Whew, I got my May day in today ... I was wondering if this would be my last chance.

Will the parking lot still be open? I say we still have a bbq there anyway. :-) Will they let you hike up to whatever has any coverage? We can still ski, a little bitty bit...

On another note, I have 2 tickets left from the 4-pack I was saving for Mother's Day weekend, so if anyone needs a ticket for this week, let me know.

Doubt the summer lifts will be turning, but there are a number of trails that should be good.  I was at the Frisco Peninsula Bike Park Sunday- they have 3 short circuits as well as an area with mounds/jumps.

Looks like the camp is closed from April 15 to June 9. Damn.

Maybe we can do some dry land training with Bob Barnes.  Or was that Robin Barnes?  I'm so confused.

No more confused than I am, right Bob?
