Topsheet chip - should I be concerned?

Hey all,

First time poster on Epic Ski.  I just bought some armada AR7's and tried them out for the first time this weekend.  Naturally, some dude decided it would be great to bang into me and below is the result.  Its about the length of a fingernail and less than 1mm deep.  Is there anything I should do to this to clean it up or am I being anal? Just want to make sure no damage has been done / will spread further. Thanks for all the help guys.

I can't really see anything wrong there on the top sheet. My old Volkl AC4's had a good size chunk missing out of the top sheet about 4" in front of the binding, I put about 150 day's on them before I sold them.

If the ski, skis fine don't worry about it. You don't ski on the top skin.

Oh you also don't need perfect bases or polished edges. Just keep them sharp and waxed.

Thanks for your response! The chip is on the left ski - about half way down.

Oh you mean that little thing, LOL no don't worry. Lot's worse things will happen over the life of the ski.

My AC4's had a chunk missing about the size of your small finger nail and about that deep as the arch of the nail.
