After twelve years of use, I finally broke one of my Reflex X-Treme Ultra Lite carbon fiber poles. I landed on it in the bumps with my edges and cut it right off just above the basket.
This was BY FAR the lightest ski pole I've ever used. My backup poles seem like I am weight lifting. Since I've been out of the market for poles for so long I'm not sure what's happening out there. So, can people please make a recommendation for me for a really light carbon fiber pole.
Sidenote, I have a pair of the Goode poles and they're crap. Oh their durable enough but the vibration is enough to drive me to drink (even more). So, those are not a viable alternative. So, any recommendations should take vibration into account.
