Also, when speaking of food, if you're a burger fan, In-n-Out is now in SLC. Try one (or more).

 

They have a 5 Guys down in the area (Fort Union Blvd), make sure you go there for sure. Great burgers.

looks like there is some snow heading in tonight, nothing big, but it will keep it somewhat fresh on the groomers.

Had a good time on the groomers off the Supreme lift today.  The bonus was getting to ski a couple blacks with my 11yo daughter and her friend that were still quite hard.  The girls showed how much they learned at ski school yesterday.

 

Everything higher up stayed completely frozen.  Looks could be very deceiving if you don't know where things get soft.  Followed a ski school group off trail from RockNRoll that was okay.  Top of Mambo was ice.  None of the new snow is going to have anything to stick to tonight.

Yep - 10" so far ... and it's still snowing!!

Snow near Albion base at 10:30am.  3-7 inches more after that.

I feel ya. We skied Alta today. With the plane ride and skiing, I'm exhausted. Can't wait to get back out tomorrow though.

Glad you got to enjoy the new snow!  Remember April 8 is the last day for Supreme.

It was fun to say hello in person.  A great day to be explore Alta for the first time!

 

Yep. Thanks for the heads up. We are getting a 3-day pass at Alta today and then ski the end of the week at Snowbird.

Will be around Supreme most of the day.  Meeting up with friends at 10:30 . . . or 11:30 at the base of Supreme.  I have a white helmet with white goggles and Ski Beech sticker, blue boots.  My daughter has purple pants, dark blue helmet, red boots.

Never found Hokie07 but did run into Scotty a few times on Supreme.  He seems to having a fun time.

Found Aspen in better condition that expected.  Was repeatedly told it has been the driest season for 30 years, but once the sun had softened the snow there was good skiing, particularly in the Higlands Bowl and off the tow at Snowmass.

 

With the input on here and the forecast temperatures, we headed back east and spent the last three days at Loveland, Copper and Breckenridge.  The first two were fine but the higher temps and crowds caused Breck to cut up badly during the day.

 

We'll come back to Aspen but be sure to stay in a condo to mitigate the restaurant's cartel pricing.  Think I may be done with Breck, which is a shame, as the village is a cool place to spend time.

^^ yup, breckenflat is highly overrated.

 

That's not a bad idea.  But all the restaurants have bar menus and most would have been running prix fixe deals the week you were there.  Some times you just have to ask?

Post here next year and I'll point you in the right direction.

glad to hear you had a good time. I could tell by the conditions reviews on On the Snow that Breck was in bad shape. bummer
