So who do you think is the best skier here.  I know it's not me, and I would bet it's not someone with a lot of video posted.  Just curious about what everybody thinks.

I believe there is a user here by the handle "mblazerUSST"  he only has 14 posts, but I'm pretty sure being on the USST qualifies you as the best skier here.

MasterRacer was a US Ski Team member that competed internationally.  There are several here with FIS level competition success.  There are also some bump skiers here that have been multiple time national and world champions.

 

There really is no "best" skier here (besides Chaos).  But there are plenty of damn good ones.wink.gif

I think Olympic Gold Medalist Debbie Armstrong is the most accomplished skier to post on Epicski. Martin Bell and Dan Egan are a couple other names that come to mind.

I would have to say that the best 57 year old male skier in Euclid, OH is........drum roll please.......ME!!!!

 

As for who is the best skier on Epic, who really cares?  As long as you get out in the snow and enjoy yourself, that is what truly counts.

Or, how do you recognize good skiing?  in a purely aesthetic and emotional way, not MA.

 

here's one: down low the skis and legs are working, driving and absorbing all kinds of terrain and variable snow. by the time you get up to the skier's shoulders, all is quiet, serene, thoughtful, joyous, relaxed and peaceful. 

 

sort of a derail, but no one here wants to seriously talk about themselves.....or who's best....an impossible concept to begin with.

Thanks, but I think my claim to fame is GIVING OUT cred points, not GETTING cred points, but we'll never know now that they've turned that off.

Omg...... I ran into him about a month ago. I felt strange as he was the cause of much drama & thought you know he is just a regular guy enjoying the sport. We chatted & as I walked away I felt confident he was an alright dude.

Then 5 min later I saw him conducting some sketchiness in the parking lot & thought that some things never change.

That dude always makes me smile!

And some folks have never posted ANY VIDEO, not even photos, let alone video.  wink.gif

Maybe Skidude (for example, there are many more who seem to know what they are talking about but don't show any video) is just an artificial intelligence robot cooked up at MIT, and not really a good ski instructor with a soft snow bias biggrin.gif

He may be one of the smartest instructors on here.

(FYI, Bob Peters is the best skier only because Chuck Norris allows him to be.)
