BC Trip. Heli-Panorama-Fernie

RK Heliski on Wed. Feb 22.  Overcast, high avalanche danger, 20 in of fresh snow.  No top/glacier skiing but a great day.  This was my lst heli trip and had a great time.

RK is very well run.  Our guide Erica Roles did a great job.   My only complaint is that even though Van and I told them we were experienced powder skiers they put us with a MIXED group and one guy had never skied powder before and a couple others were in the snow a lot.  Little extra down time waiting on the lst couple runs but they gave us an extra run and we had a very good day.

I have limited pictures as I had GoPro video on and before I post here have to lean how to edit.

heli 019.JPG  Good sample of the terrain we skied

heli 027.JPG  Van on L and me - snow was 10 1/2 ft deep at this location and skied down thru the tree tops.

heli 030.JPG  L to R.  Blue coat young l;ady from Canada, Guide Erica, Tim, Sam, Van, Yellow Jac from Spain, and two more from London Canada.  Nice people.

Looks like a rad trip. Few  low-light photos = great day of skiing in my experience.

Nice, Pete!

Good looking terrain for low visibility days.

You live well.

Glad you got there with some decent snow, versus earlier in the season.  Anxious to see your video!
