I'm getting into Deer Valley on Thursday night. It's my first time there. The weather report shows a couple of feet of snow between yesterday and today, with a few more inches tomorrow, but clearing for Friday.
From everything I've heard, there's a better chance to score left over pow at Deer Valley than a lot of other places. I'm going to have Rossi S7s and S3s with me, and trying to guess whether there's going to be enough untracked / soft stuff left over to make it worth getting the S7s out. Or if I should likely just go with the S3s.
Obviously weather conditions can change, I could just go back and swap the skis out if I picked the wrong one, the St Regis would probably send a butler up wth the other pair if I needed them, yada yada yada. It's a dumb question, but I'm excited for my first decent skiing of the season, and thought I'd ask it anyway.
