For East coast skiing, what are the pros/cons of skiing with a 90 mm waist width?

If you can have a back up pair in the 65-70mm range under foot for pure ice/boilerplate you should be pretty happy with a 90mm underfoot for most conditions in the east. Probably want to go with something that has a bit of rocker up front and some camber underfoot. Only con I can think of with that width is for pure ice /boiler plate and getting on and off edges very quickly with precision.
