Dave Williams worked at Arlberg Ski Shop back in 1972. Dave was in the ski part, and I did the bikes. Dave made a few belts for himself and others. The Lange rep came through, asked for a belt, took it back to Lange, and they then marketed the belt as their own design (yeah, I wouldn't have expected less). I bought one of the Lange belts in 1972 and have worn it quite often (sometimes everyday) for the last 40 years.
I'm looking for the old 1971-1972 buckles. I know... a long shot, but I want to make another belt. I've attached a photo of the belt. It actually looks better in real life. A little tired but hey, it's probably older than most people on this forum.
