Im a skier on a limited budget, but I enjoy nice gear enough to save up for a while to purchase it.
Last year I purchased tecnica dragon 100 boots from a bootfitter in boulder, they fit my foot so well that I feel no need to get them punched in any way. However the liners are wearing out and the standard plastic footbed doesn't fit my foot. The only things im noticing with the liner is a loose fitting heel pocket, when I flex into the boot my heel comes up quite a bit, also im getting a hot spot on my left little toe that causes it to go numb after about half an hour, the rub is on top of the toe. Ive also had some pretty nasty shin bang after a day in the park or bumps.
Im trying to prioritize my purchase order here. Should I go with a custom footbed, or a new intuition liner first? Which do you feel is more important?
