FS: Volkl WC GS 180cm

One pair is SOLD, still have one pair left though

I've got two one pair of Volkl WC GS race skis that I bought thinking I was going to race on them this year, but ended up going with Dynastar instead. Anyways, my loss is your gain! These are brand new, never mounted, never tuned, never touched snow. They're 180cm with a 23 meter turn radius. Asking $350 (shipped to lower 48) for one pair, or $600 if you want both  $250 (shipped to lower 48) for one or $450 if you're interested in both.

I also have 211cm Super G Volkl skis if you're interested.

After some investigation I have discovered that I had these a bit overpriced.  Anyways now I'm thinking like $250 shipped, or $450 for the set.

Trying to get these gone before the snow melts!

Seems like a good price to me, but I got no budget left for skis this year.frown.gif

Maybe if you threw in some bindings they would sell faster, just a suggestion.

While they may be unused, these look like a 2009 ski.

But they are the 23m radius so would make a good (better!) option for anyone considering a GS cheater.

I have Look Freeflex PX15's or 18's I'd be willing to include.

They're 2009, but besides doing a new sidewall material, Volkl hasn't really made any changes to their race skis since then.  The main difference is the topsheet.

You can think that but you would be surprised how many changes there are in race skis year to year, even when the topsheet hasn't changed.  ..

With the Racetigers?  I know in the 2011's they added tonsssss of metal and they were incredibly stiff which is one of the reasons they didn't sell as well, but since then I thought they were still going off the 2008 model design.  Well until this year when they have to make them with the crazy huge radius.

Based on the designation of "greater than or equal to" 23.0, how do you know they are in fact 23 meter skis, instead of a 24 or 25?

Yeah that's always bugged me.  Race stock info is kept pretty secret though.  I believe that it means that it is either exactly 23 or within tenths of a meter greater than 23.  If it was a 24m R than they would put "greater than or equal to 24.0"

did they have those hand written numbers on the tails?

mine have an 8 number serial written by hand, different on each ski, and there are some other numbers, 77 and 183 - 93 - 11,5

183 is the length probably
