Back space does not work again

It takes 14 backspace clicks to get back to the forum after reading a post. This is really annoying. Is this related to the ads? This problem has appeared before.

I'm not having the issue.  Chrome ver. 17, Win 7-64.

I am having the same issue and I've been avoiding the site and not looking at things when I'm here because once I open a thread I can't get out, and when it finally does engage half the time it double backs me right off the site.

Wait, you're hitting, literally the BACKSPACE key?  I thought you were hitting the BACK arrow in your browser.  I've never tried to use a backspace key.  Is that supposed to work?

I meant tosay back arrow but backspace also works the back arrow in IE. The reult is the same, multiple clicks needed.

Tried in IE 9.  Still not an issue for me.  See if dumping your cache works and make sure all your updates are current.

Backspace is the shortcut for the back button in all browsers not just IE.

I just tested this on my Win 7 x64 machine with Chrome 17, Firefox 6.0, and IE9. All of them worked fine with and without ads enabled.

I have the same issue. When hitting the return to previous page arrow, it never works. If I hit it multipe times, sometimes it finally has an effect and sometimes not!

Using IE9. I have a monster of a machine in all respects 16Gb of ram i7- 2600k 3.40 Ghz Overclocked processor and an

Maybe it is the ads being enabled?

Tried back space key and arrow using IE 9.  Normally use Chrome.  Works on both.

Something to do with Java version?  Type of keyboard?  I'm using a Dell full size PC (not laptop) with all kinds of bells and whistles as well.  I checked the Java levels, Version 6, update 31.  English - US keyboard.

Ususally I can't edit a post at all for a long time. No keys work at all.  The thing just sits there frozen until it decides to let me edit. My Java is totally up to date!

When I try to back PAGE, I can't in the browser it won't work.

US keyboard, not a laptop,  Window 7 Pro 64 bit , IE9 32 bit

Not having the issue in Chrome about editing either.  Of course, I have ads turned off.  And I use OpenDNS to block all that stuff anyway.  I'll temporarily turn on the Epic ads and see what happens....

No issues.  Did not change from the OpenDNS servers, though.  I did see ads show up.

Tried this switch again in IE9.  No problem.   Version 9.0.5, 64-bit

I am using the EpicSki default skin, and have the settings for full width and constant width checked.

Hmmm...not using Windows 7 64 PRO, using Home Premium.  Seems unlikely that is the problem, though.

Also tried in Safari, no issues.

Wait!!  This might be it.  I have epicski.com set in the "compatibility view" of IE9.

Hmmm...turned it off, shut down IE9 and restarted.  Still no problems.

Have you TRIED using other browsers?

No but Epic is the only site this happens on. I belong to a few other forums (BMW Motorcyles) 3 to be exact and no issues.

We do have a problem system wide with the flash full-feature editor.  Editing posts, most people are seeing HTML code, and are restricted to BBcode editor.  This is being worked on by Huddler engineering and it was a result of something in the platform update pushed yesterday.

But I was thinking that if you tried a different browser we could find out if some add-in was different between them or something and it would give us some CLUE as to what the issue is.

It takes me 12 hits of the back button for the browser to back.

On my laptop, no problem in firefox, Chrome or Safari.  It takes two taps of the backspace or one click of the back button in IE9.  I can't duplicate your report bug in IE9.  Anyone else?
