Go for it!
Go for it!
Hey Nate, its my reverse psychology.
If I never take anything seriously its way easier for me to succeed. I have been doing it since I was racing cars as a teen. Basically at the start of every run, or race I would totally psych myself down to calm me down. As snowbowler says I run at 11 so much that to succeed I actually have learned to tone it down.
If I did not think I had a shot i wouldnt be going but at the sametime I am literally approaching its as if its just another skiing day I do hope they take my humor. Like at my L3 skiing before Gnar was popular, I turned around to the rest of the group including an ETS guy before wedge turns at said to them. "you better watch me, I am going to rip the shit out of these wedge turns". disclaimer those wedge turns did suck but its did make me pretty happy to see the smiles.
at last weeks w /c gathering, i had the pleasure of skiing with a bear who is a L3 at "O" . he's a heck of a skier and i think you know who he is. if he says you are ready - you are.
additionally, im sure you know several of the other high level ski instructors at our hill, there are 4 instructors that come to mind - who are exceptional. you can reach out to any of them for a quick look.
