Stratton - How bad is it during President's Day week??

I have been planning to do 3 days of demos at Stratton, (plug for a great deal on Demo Card from First Run ski shop) but have had a tough time finding the opportunity that works between weather and logistics.  For those who know the mountain very well, how bad is it during the President's Day week?  I am assuming it is a madhouse on Monday (President's Day), but what is it like for crowds/skier traffic the remainder of the week?  Any input would be greatly appreciated.

MLK and President's Day weekends are usually REALLY busy Saturday, moderately busy Sunday, and usually not bad at all on Monday.  This holds true for most resorts due to general vacationer behavior patterns.  People hit it hard Saturday, some drop out Sunday, most are driving home Monday.  Skipping Saturday and skiing Monday is the best 3 day weekend strategy IMO.

I was looking at either skiing Tuesday through Thursday or Monday through Wednesday.  Monday through Wednesday works better logistically, but I don't want to be fighting crowds ... that's why I am asking.

The main base area can be a nightmare during peak times. If you stick to the Sunbowl side of the mountain then things get MUCH more manageable. I would actually go so far as to call them pleasant. In general I avoid southern Vermont at all costs during peak periods, but sticking to the Sunbowl at Stratton makes it enjoyable.

Thanks for the input.  Anyone know how bad Stratton usually is on Monday (President's Day) each year?  Are the weekend folks usually heading out of town as mentioned above, or is the crowd still pretty bad?

Monday of Presidents/MLK weekends is get-away day for a lot of people; they just want to get on the road and beat the traffic. It's not as empty like midweek, but you'd be thrilled if that's all the people who showed up on any Saturday or Sunday.
