I always enjoy viewing others trip reports, but never posted my own. This is my first attempt at a trip report, so here we go.
My wife and I headed out for our annual "big ski trip" out west. We arrived in Bozeman the 4th and visited with a family friend and checked out the town for the night.
Even though it is a low snow year for Bridger Bowl, we headed out the following day to ski the cold smoke.
View from Bridger parking lot.
Some views from on the mountain.
Conditions were pretty good, even though it didn't snow since the Thursday prior to arrival. With a little bit of searching fresh snow still could be found.
We skiied till about 3 and then headed to Big Sky to check in and watch the Superbowl. Despite having a "few" drinks with the time change we were able to get up early to head to the mountain the following day.
Despite no recent snowfall, I was amazed by the amount of fresh snow that was able to be found with a little searching.

Me catching some air off a cat track.
Tram up to Lone Peak. Coverage was very sketchy on top, but still some excellent snow was to be found.
View from the top of Lone Peak. On top of the world.
Big Sky is truly an amazing mountain! The size and views are mind boggling. Even though it did not snow during our trip conditions were very good. If you haven't skiied Big Sky you should definitely check it out. I know we will be heading back!!
