25% off on Pow Tales

Hi All,

  • In celebration of starting my new enterprise, Pow Tales, I am offering a 25% discount to all EpicSki members. I am also going to donate an additional $1 back to EpicSki for each set I sell here. To redeem your discount, go to my website and use the contact form at the bottom of the "Buy Now" page. Enter your EpicSki user name along with your name, mailing address and the number of sets you would like. I'll send you back an invoice with the discounted purchase price per set and shipping charges. When you hit the "buy Now" button embedded in the email it will redirect you to Pay Pal to complete your purchase. If you wish expedited shipping you should include that information in your original email to me. IMG_2417.JPG

There are many types of powder cords on the market, but Pow Tales are the newest and most innovative of these products. Pow Tales live on your ski boots, always ready to be clipped into, so there is no way you can forget to bring them. If and when you lose a ski, the last thing that leaves your ski boot is a break-away Velcro strap attached to 6’ of bright orange ribbon, and your ski, of course. In addition, they are very easy to engage and disengage so there is no punishment factor if you’re cat or heli skiing or even just riding a tram or gondola. And the best thing about this simple no-brainer solution is their price. When you figure out what it costs per hour to dig through deep powder looking for a lost ski they are dirt cheap. Check ‘em out at http://powtales.com.

  • Installs on your ski boots in a few minutes.
  • Easy to engage and disengage.
  • Always there when you find that unexpected powder stash.
  • Perfect for riding Gondolas and Trams.
  • Perfect for Heli and Cat skiing.
  • Made in America

I got mine very quickly after ordering them, 2 pair, one for me and one for my son.  They're  very nicely made and mine are now mounted on my boots waiting to tried on Friday.  Quite a few years ago, the first time I ever skied at Red Lodge Mountain, I lost a ski in about 24" of powder on Winchester.  We were on a house hunting trip and the skis were rentals.  It took me 20-30 minutes of digging around with a ski pole before I located it.  Wish I would have had these that day.

Please post a review after you've had a chance to use them a bit. All feedback is good feedback.smile.gif

I wish we were having the kind of snow this year that made Pow Tales indispensable.  Bob, you're so close by, I think we should get together sometime soon.  Are you going to the Gathering in Tahoe?  If so, be sure to bring along a supply of these.  The Tuesday demo-day would be a good day to maybe show these off.

Cirquerider,

It has been a pretty ironic winter  to start this new business, and I think we all join in your wish for a winter that would make Pow Tales indispensable. A little powder makes the world a better place. smile.gif Speaking of which, the 10 day forecast has it snowing next Monday through Wednesday.  I looked at the post you linked for me, but couldn't find a demo day listed. Which resort are you talking about? I would definitely like to meet you and any other Bears in the area. Let me know which days you'll be where and I'll do my best to make it happen. Thanks for the heads up, too.

The "Demo Day" is Tuesday at Mount Rose.  Contact Philpug for details.  This is the link to Guides and Demos for the gathering

Cirquerider and All,

I'm in for Tuesday at Mt. Rose. My wife and I will be there at 9am with a backpack full of Pow Tales for sale to EpicSki members at 25% off, and I will still donate $1 back to Epic Ski for every set sold. If you've been thinking about picking up a set of these, you can avoid the $3 (in the continental USA) shipping charges by buying them that day. That makes this a pretty killer deal at almost 35% off. See you there. beercheer.gif

I got your email and sent you one back. I can't ship until Monday morning now, but I'll get it done then. Did you want just the one set, and do you want to set up more than one pair of skis? Let me know so I can complete your order.

Thanks,

Bob

I got a set of these last year, and saw a bunch at the Gathering.  For most members, the introduction of Pow Tales was too late in the season to get them.  So here is some advice.  Send Bob a PM and get some.  This is a clean, inexpensive way to have powder cords ready when you need them, and not to be dragging them around when you don't.

I'm not sure of 2012/2013 pricing, but I'd bet this is a great Christmas gift.

Bump: Got your Christmas shopping done yet?

I'm still getting PM's and emails from Epic members asking if I"m still giving the 25% discount and the answer is YES. Just send me a PM or email me at sales@powtales.com and I'll hook you up with your discount. Be sure to include your Epic user name, the number of set you want, address, and email address if you choose to PM me. Some Epic members are using my website to pay for their order, but I can't process your discount if you do it that way. Epic members need to write to me directly to receive the discount. It looks like we're all going to get some POW this winter, so take advantage of this offer.

Cheers,

Bob
