Finndog's pants in the PNW

I was lucky enough to snag some sweet "like new" ski pants from Finndog in Gear Swap. As most of you know, Finndog's season got off to a rocky start so I told him I'd post a TR of his pants. Hope your feeling better Findog. Your pants had a GREAT time!

-------------------------

When the wife suggested that I visit the kids in the PNW on a solo trip AND that I should make it an extended, 20 day visit,  I booked my flights that same day before she came to her senses. Here ya go Finndog.

I'm wondering if your wife would be willing to give mine a little clinic on this; have a kid in Denver, I know he misses me, he probably couldn't put up with me for 20 days but................

Noice Pants btw.

and Jimmy, how are my skis doing?  wink.gif

They're spending the winter about twenty feet from the snow. Looks like there's gonna be enough snow this weekend to take em out for some exercise. See you in Tahoe?

Actually, perhaps I should give a clinic on the breaking in and training of wives. Step1, marry the sweet thing that you borrowed a pen from in 10th grade geometry. Step 15, have grand children that live slope side. Believe me, you don't want your wife getting any tips from mine. She's always 3 steps ahead of me and knows how to let me think I got my way. Every once and a while she slips up and I pounce.

Jimmy, can't wait to hear how they perform. Have fun. Wish I were there to celebrate. Make sure MikeC doesn't hurt my Bushwackers! smile.gif

Darn, no! But it look great and as it's only 4 mi. from Pt Defiance it's on my to do list for my April visit. Thanks for the tip. As it was, with 2 kids under 2 1/2 getting out on the town wasn't in the cards. The first couple of nights we were stormed in. I did do a baby sitting stint one night so mom and dad could get out for dinner alone. Don't know where they went.

☯ that has to be good karma, i'm sure it'll have a positive rub off on Finn too:)

Give a shout out when you're back in the area in April, we can catch some turns.

That's a great idea! It'd be like Flat Stanley but for ski pants. Could have a mascot . . . Gaper Phil doll travels the world?

Bwaaahahah

DSloan I found out that it's harder than you think to turn a pair of 98's into rock skis, not that I didn't try (ssh don't tell finndog). darn things just float along on top, snow kept getting in my eyes, really sucks eh? I think SirShredsalot and MikeC didn't want to leave Sunday, maybe you can bring them back in March for Snowy Luau.

Ain't that the truth? We had a blast - thanks for showing me to the best snow, Jimmy.

Think there will be snow left in March? Where will we find a sitter for babyDSloan? Perhaps MrDSloan will be willing...

Aaaahhuum, the wife just said "I'll be going to visit the kids in April, you need to stay home to take care of the dog". Oh well, next season I ring you up. Actually, we hope to be living in the PNW by the fall.
