Anyone here have the Giro Seam helmet and can comment on wind noise in the earflaps when moving at a good speed?

I have a Salomon Air Ranger and it fits really well, but HOLY CRAP is the wind noise unbearable when I am moving at a brisk pace.  I can't even hear music in earbuds unless they're dangerously loud.  Seriously, the wind noise gets ridiculous.  Other than trying some ghetto rig solution to fix the aerodynamics around the earflaps, I have to consider a different helmet.  I've tried on a TON of helmets and the Giro Seam is the only other one that really fits my melon well.
