Suggestions for getting best tix prices for one week even though it is school vacation week for us?? Two teenagers and two adults
Weare renting an SUV so suggestions for nearby areas greatly appreciated too!
Vail Resorts/Breck considers anyone ages 13-64 to be an adult. Ticket price is the adult price for everyone in your group.
Vail guarantees that tickets bought in advance online will be the best tix price. http://www.breckenridge.com/plan-a-trip/lift-tickets/lift-tickets-explorer.aspx
The Epic 7-Day Pass would have been your best option but it went off sale online at the end of November.
Here are other ideas but it will take legwork (Breck is Vail Resorts owned) http://skiing.helium.com/how-to/11980-how-to-get-discount-ski-lift-tickets-to-vail-ski-resort
Oh I have tons of material. I just didn't want to be accused of spamming the forum. I was mainly addressing Breck/Vail Resorts but here goes for the rest.

I haven't written anything up about Aspen or Telluride yet but search my blog's for past deals which tend to repeat:

I have tons of information up about ski discounts.
I really don't worry about lift tickets as I always get them for free. People seem to give me free food and booze too. A well known lodging/spa in Beaver Creek has been trying to get me to post about their swanky joint on one of my blog's. I think I need some 'hands-on research' for that to happen.
