Sounds great, but It looks like the change in stance was introduced just as the ski manufactrures and PSIA have realized that some of the skis and teaching technique introduced the past 15 - 20 were not quite right. For skis I have recently noticed a trend going back to somewhat narrower and longer skis; not back to the 1980's, but definitely different than 2010. And, PSIA has just re-vamped their guidelines to go back to the basics of good technical skiing and away from teaching to the equipment. They are once again emphasizing proper forward pressure, independent leg/foot action, weighting the outside ski, etc. That said, the boot is not straight up and down as I have seen from some other manufacturers; so, good job in not going too far with that change. Has anyone else seen these trends / changes?
