Don't know if there was a thread on this or not (didn't find one with a search), but thought it was worth sharing. I came across this when I was doing some research on skiing history: A ski historian found the first issue of Ski magazine and SkiHistory.org scanned it and made it available online (free).
Ski (which I consider the wealthy non-skiers ski magazine today) was actually a pretty good magazine back in the day. It was in Seattle and I'm sure there wasn't much of a travel budget back then, so the focus is all PNW. I didn't read the whole thing, but it's a cool piece of nostalgia from what I saw. The piece on Stevens Pass/Wenatchee is particularly interesting since the issue came out in 1936, a year or two before the resort was there.
