I was on the mountain, although over on North Lynx when it happened.

Never heard or saw a thing.


Accident made the 11pm news, but just as an injury.

Was riding a chairlift yesterday with a 50-something gentleman who told me the skier had succumbed

to his injuries. Two young children, wife.


My chair-share said that one of his skiing buddies was quite good friends with the man who perished,

and that he was not by any means an inexperienced skier. I didn't have the heart to ask if he was wearing a helmet,

although truthfully, it almost doesn't matter.


Peace to his family and everyone he loves.


Peace to the patrollers and responders.
