Kudos to Edgewise in VT

As someone who tunes race skis for a living, I feel compelled to give credit to a shop that I have never stepped in.  I recently received a pair of GS skis from the Volkl rep who deals with all the race skis that are returned at the end of year.  The skis had a sticker on the top sheet detailing the tune specifics from Edgewise.  The tune and structure looked to be in good form, so I decided to ski them in the condition I got.  I can honestly say that I feel that I prep some fast skis, but these where probably one of the fastest skis I have ever been on.

Having never met these folks, if you live in the Stowe area and want a fast ski, give the guys a shot.  I am still trying to figure out how they ground the structure profile on a machine as it is awesome...

If I am ever in the area, I would love to stop by and see their shop...

Thank you again!

+1 for Edgewise. It is run by Graham Lonetto who had been the tech for the US Women's technical team at the Salt Lake City Olympics. I have my GS and SL skis done there.  Graham has a whole assortment of grinds in his cookbook, mine is an all purpose (KA). He showed us his machine after he got it a few years ago but I don't recall the details.
