Had my ACL reconstruction surgery on Jan. 20th.  Physically I am progressing well but mental recovery has been a challenge.  I had my first post op visit yesterday.   The doctor was happy with my progress especially that I could do a straight leg lift.  They shortened my brace and told me I have to wear it when I am walking( locked at 0 degrees) but it can be off most other times.

I went to the gym today and lifted chest and triceps.  It was nice to workout for the first time in 2 weeks.

I am going a little crazy at home.  I feel like there is nothing fun to do because of the injured leg.  I spend most of my time watching awful TV shows and staring at the computer screen.

I am also a little depressed that I didn't get to ski at all this year.  I am going to the mountain in a few weeks to watch my 4 year old get a lesson.
