We are a couple, I'm in my mid 30's and she's in her late 20's. We are in the beginning stages of planning a 3-4 week Southern Hemisphere ski trip sometime this summer (July/ August). Want to hit up some combination of Heli, cat and lift-accessible skiing in New Zealand, Chile and Argentina. We are advanced skiers but usually don't do much hike-to terrain. We'd love to do some or all of the trip with one or a few other people.
Tentatively we will fly to Santiago and spend a week in Chile then head over the pass by bus or car and do Penitentes and Las Lenas then something down by Bariloche over a week plus before heading to New Zealand for a week and a half to two weeks.
Any suggestions for best places in the Southern Hemisphere (I've only skied Penitentes in Argentina - Chile and NZ I've not done) or interested in joining us for some/ all of trip? We are very flexible on depart/ return dates, as well as on where to go - we may even just break it up into two separate 2 week-ish trips, since most tickets seem to want to route back through US. If we do two separate trips, we may hit up Australia as well.
