True story I've related before, but this is a good place for a rerun. No pictures, sorry.
In the '70s at Stevens Pass the one and only lodge had a bar with a very tall picture window that looked up on a run called "Showcase" which ran right down to the lodge front door. Nowadays Showcase is a blue groomer but in those days it wasn't groomed and it developed big bumps.
A bunch of us were having a beer in the bar after day skiing, night skiing was still in progress. Someone in the bar noticed a guy about half way down Showcase who was disrobing and handing his clothes to a friend. After he had pulled off everything but his boots, hat, and goggles he proceeded to "streak" down to the lodge in full view of the entire base area. His friend was following, holding all of his buddy's clothing plus his own poles.
Well, it's a lot easier to ski bumps without carrying a bunch of stuff, so the streaker got out ahead of his helper, looking good with plenty of laughs and cheers from the crowd at the base. The bar was going ballistic. Suddenly the helper guy fell. He not only lost the stuff he was carrying, but he ejected from at least one ski. There he was, trying to pull all of the stuff together and get his ski back on while his naked friend was stuck at the bottom of the run, right in the middle of the base area, with no clothes and no place to go.
I don't remember what happened after that because I was laughing so hard, along with everyone else in the bar, that I kind of lost track of things, though I imagine that it called for more beer.
