I have never being skiing naked since I just started. But I did do a naked skydive one time and that was pretty chilly (my excuse anyways).

The daughter that I know about is 8.  It is possible there could be others.  confused.gif

That first, oh so wonderful snowboarding video has been on TGR for 2 weeks at least.  I'm not at all bitching about a re/post post, however.

Ps., personally i could've done without the mens gay rugby team off season activities, but way to cover all bases, something for everyone, huh.

Clearly, you've never snooped around in The Padded Room at TGR before.

If there's no age limit, here's me at 60+ at Killington.

You look great for your age, wow!

I should add, that's from one dude to another dude.  Don't read between the lines, there's nothing to see, move along. rolleyes.gif

I've skied shirtless once: big snowfall followed by 80°F weather meant that even the long-sleeved T-shirt I started the day with was too hot. I'd love to do that again.

Shorts might be a problem. I usually get a lot of snow on my legs when l ski, so I suspect I'd get cold quickly. However, that looks to be less the case than it used to be, so maybe I'll give it a try when the weather warms up.

I could see doing XC in shorts or naked if I ever get the chance.

Just remembered that I've "skied" plenty of times in a swimsuit.  There's a bit of a time range in these two photos.

Wakeboarding at age 60+ and barefooting at 19

Well, heck, if we're going with having "skied" in a swimsuit or naked . . .

Thanks.  You should see my child bride who's turning 60 in October - still looks like her high school graduation photo.  Here's a pencil sketch I did of her recently.

I'll hit 66 in October and look at least that old.  Physically I've been pretty lucky and have tried to resist aging.  This shot was taken at the NASTAR Open a couple weeks ago. I didn't have time to switch back to my snowboard and didn't want to block the rest of the folks in the shot.

DSloan, that's some impressive wakeboarding!

Strong too - not even breaking a sweat there holding you up by the pickel (point) of your pickelhaube (kaiser helmet);)

Congrats, she looks nice. A few of the women rowers i've met at Philly's boat house row are holding up as well at her age, good genes*.

*note to young bachelors, check out the mother for the long range forecast.

Hmmm.....I just realized....nobody's wearing a helmet.

True story I've related before, but this is a good place for a rerun.  No pictures, sorry.

In the '70s at Stevens Pass the one and only lodge had a bar with a very tall picture window that looked up on a run called "Showcase" which ran right down to the lodge front door.  Nowadays Showcase is a blue groomer but in those days it wasn't groomed and it developed big bumps.

A bunch of us were having a beer in the bar after day skiing, night skiing was still in progress.  Someone in the bar noticed a guy about half way down Showcase who was disrobing and handing his clothes to a friend.  After he had pulled off everything but his boots, hat, and goggles he proceeded to "streak" down to the lodge in full view of the entire base area.  His friend was following, holding all of his buddy's clothing plus his own poles.

Well, it's a lot easier to ski bumps without carrying a bunch of stuff, so the streaker got out ahead of his helper, looking good with plenty of laughs and cheers from the crowd at the base.  The bar was going ballistic.  Suddenly the helper guy fell.  He not only lost the stuff he was carrying, but he ejected from at least one ski.  There he was, trying to pull all of the stuff together and get his ski back on while his naked friend was stuck at the bottom of the run, right in the middle of the base area, with no clothes and no place to go.

I don't remember what happened after that because I was laughing so hard, along with everyone else in the bar, that I kind of lost track of things, though I imagine that it called for more beer.

Weird does the same for me now too.  When I posted it it was not private, but a great naked ski crash.

Reminds me of a pic on the wall of the Harvard cabin on Mt Washington (could still be there for all I know) demonstrating the French ice axe position Piolet en Barrasse.

never naked-

sister would drive down from Minneapolis- we'd take my SW and head to Georgetown, Co- Super 8 for 4 days-

we liked Keystone- 9-9 and night skiing

quite a few times we'd have swim wear under ski clothes- find a nice tree area- strip down and leave the stuff

Keystone is quite high at the top-

seems once we made a run or 2 those snow bunnies were popping up here and there-

thing was- they sure looked sweet and some fellas would try to catch up with them- whew- could a couple of them really ski

got back to the motel late- jumped in the hot tub- crashed- next morning we couldn't drink coffee- face was all swollen-  interesting stuff someone suggested to put on our faces

didn't seem like it at the time- but 4 hours up high in bright sun off that snow- really wasn't a problem untill the next day-

but heck- we skied another 2 days

btw- hello folks
