This is the  first of a 2 part review.  I have skied 3 days so far at Gore Mountain in Northern NY on fairly firm conditions. The secon part will be done in late Feb on hopefully soft snow in Utah.

I am very pleased with the way they grip on hard surfaces.  You can easily set an edge and carve a turn on firm snow.  The ski is very stable and seems more stable the faster you go.

The wood core allows for soft landings when catching some air in the terrain park.

I found there is a drawback to the twin tip ski style and that is when getting in the gondola you have to ride up with the ski stuck in the snowboard slot.

I will edit this after my Utah trip when I have had a chance to ski it in powder -- (hopefully)

Hey, there is a ski for everyone.   If this guy likes them, then just because YOU don't like them doesn't mean they are the wrong ski for him.  No reason to get nasty about it.  You could be constructive and say WHY you don't like them.  (don't float enough or whatever).

Today was yet another set of different conditions and .......Still Happy!!

Groomed runs with 4 inches of fresh on top... delightful and then when it got chopped up and warmrer and chunky like crud... they still were sure footed and fun... smile.gif

Sounds like you're having fun on those and that is all that counts.
