Take a Group Intermediate lesson at Brighton or Alta?

My wife and I (lower intermediates) will probably do one Group lesson at either Brighton or Alta at the start of an upcoming trip. Does anyone have any experience in this area, or on why one might be preferable to the other? thanks

Can't speak for Brighton, however a friend of mine took a group lesson at Alta and loved it.

Can't speak for Brighton either, but seconding the Alta rec.  Was there a few weeks back and I did the afternoon expert mountain workshop while my wife took an intermediate group lesson.  The pace of the workshop was great, and I definitely got some challenging skiing in -- great after spending the morning on cruisers with the missus!.  As for the intermediate lesson, my wife thought it was definitely one of the better lessons she has had.

My guess is that Alta instructors have more experience than those at Brighton teaching folks with less experience skiing out west just because of where out of town folks are more likely to ski.  My experience with the mountain workshop--the least complicated--was a good one last winter.  My daughter has loved all her Alta instructors.
