Dynastar Exclusive Active for Beginner/intermediate?

Hi Guys,

I'm new to the forum, but not new to skiing. I've been off skis for a few years, and I'm gearing up again for myself and my girlfriend. She is 5' and about 110 lbs and she will be sticking to the groomers on not more than a blue. We are in Ontario, so the conditions will be mostly hard-pack and crud, (maybe a few inches of powder if we're lucky!).

I'm looking for something that will be good for her to improve on and found a good deal on a pair of previously enjoyed Dynastar exclusive actives in a 143cm. 100-74-120 with a TR of 11m. Since these are about chin height on her and they aren't a super-stiff ski, I think she should be good on these to start out and grow into.

Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?

Thanks!

Dynastar Exclusive Actives for the win. These worked out great for my gf who is a beginner. She went from bunny hill to black diamonds the same day. (Huge Asterisk. Ontario black diamonds, not real ones).

The skis should be fine.  Just make sure that she has a good bootfit.
