B.C. Tour, Part Deux

Our crew is out and about on the second part of our B.C. tour.  Unfortunately, I wasn't able to make it for the first part of it as I had a scheduling conflict.  However, I will be at Big Red Cats later this week and, after watching what they've got going so far this past week, I can't wait!

Talk about hitting it right, the group started at North Cascades Heli at the end of last week, moved on to Monashees Cat Skiing, and are now at Selkirk Wilderness Adventure.  Included in the crew is Daryl Treadway (Dan's brother) who, like his brother, seems to think gravity isn't a law of physics but merely a suggestion.

Following is the first day at North Cascades and the second video is from Monashees Cat Skiing.  I wish I could share this in the first person but I'm just like anyone else who looks at these; salivating.  Here's what they found:

North Cascades:

And then, not to loose any of the excitement; Monashees:

Please feel free to let them know that they SUCK for hitting it so well.  Yes, I'm jealous but at least I'll get my shot in a couple of days.  I'll post up a first-hand TR once I get the chance.  Enjoy!

Pretty awesome. Deep!

North Cascade called me to fill a standby seat this Sat but wife vetoed 2 heli days in 2 weeks. wink.gif

Interesting GoPro mount on the Monashee video. Haven't seen that before.

Looking forward to TR from Selkirk Wilderness. Headed up to Meadow Creek in 2 weeks!

Keep getting at the pow!

Mike - Selkirk Wilderness TR is posted up along with Big Red Cats.  Everyone thought it (SWA) had the best conditions so far this season; or maybe ever.....  The video is from the first day but I guess the second day was even better.  Unfortunately for us, last Wednesday blew hard from every direction and slabbed the snow a bit at BRC so we didn't get the same conditions.  Oh well, it happens.  Should be good at SWA for you when you get there.  New snow pretty much all week with already really good conditions.  Have fun!

Pete - You're welcome.  Thanks for enjoying it!  Conditions just keep improving up there.  Your timing could be perfect.  About the boarder, yeah, he's fine.  I asked him about it and he said he hit his board first then just kind of hit his hip, shoulder, and backpack.  He got up laughing and rode away.  He's a boarder, what are we to expect?
