Hey guys, I am heading west for my first trip to vail on feb 3rd for two days of skiing. This is essentially my first trip west (I skied breckenridge, and beaver creek but I was to young to really appreciate it). Does anyone want to give a Jerk from New jersey some tips? I enjoy all different types of terrain, I can have fun making big turns on groomers, banging bumps or flying through the trees.
Vail is so large and I would like to have a good idea of what I should not miss since I will only be there two days. I would really like to take advantage of the bowls since, that is an experience I do not have back east, but I would love some tips on some good tree runs I can explore.
Unfortunetly the crew I am going with are not as adventorous as me, so I may be skiing alone for a good portion of the trip. The last thing I want to do is get myself into some trouble or lost in the woods, but I do not want to miss out on it either. Some tips on where I can safely ski the trees would be greatly appreciated.
Any tips on where to head if there has not been a storm for a few days? I do not expect you to give me access to all your secret stashes, but it would be nice if you could prove to me that the West kills the East :). Thanks for the help
