This camera can fit inside the mesh pocket most hard shells have for goggles. It's smaller than a Leica and very durable. It has a larger sensor than most point and shoots so it's good in low light. And it has a unique feature of splitting the sensor (12mp) into 2 6mp overlapping arrays and using these to extend the dynamic range. It turns out this technology gives a better representation of the colors-helpfulon the slopes when colors are usually muted and here is a tremendous dynamic range due to bright whites and dark shadows in the same image.
