I just bought a pair of Lange RS 130 boots, in the same 28.5 size as my old Doberman130s. Ive become attached to the Doberman 150 lace up liner that i've been using in my Dobermans and I'm wondering if using them in the Langes will impact performance negatively. The big thing with these Langes is the seamless integration between the liner and shell.
However, I have skied two days in the Langes with the standard liner, and have noticed pressure on my instep causing my feet to slightly loose blood pressure/feeling. I am currently sitting in the boots with the Doberman lace up liner and this feeling does not exist and the boots feel nice and snug in the appropriate areas. I do not have any footbeds in these boots currently but I realize this will only benefit the overall feel of the boot.
Does any one know wether or not these boots will perform differently with a non standard liner? I can't see it making a big difference if any difference at all. I am not racing any more but wold certainly enjoy to be able to continue using these lace up liners. Any input would be appreciated. Thank you!
