at 1st glance, 4 weeks off for skiing would be a FAB thing
but is it?
maybe going back to a very younger age (when I did have some seasons devoted to ski)
but now, at a more mature age, I don;t think I would like taking a month exclusively for skiing.
1. most mtn towns are really boring after a few days - except if you're close to a cultural center.
2. most mtn towns devoted to skiing have a lot of really boring people - until you develop good relationships, which often take years and certainly more than a month... hooking up with epic forum members could help shorten that.
3. If you have a Euro language, I WOULD consider a month somewhere in the general Alpine areas - Close to a FAB city like Salzburg, Geneve, Milan, Besançon/Lyon/Grenoble, etc - plenty of AB FAB towns over there...
would need some research to do it cost-effectively.
I would do 2 weeks at a clip, and add in some X-C, some hiking/climbing and maybe hookup with local epic posters of similar mind.
These days I find much more than 5 days in a row, alpine skiing on the hill; I'm then thinking about other stuff to do...
A whole season of flexibility is really FAB, but a month would find me constantly searching to stuff it full, and consequently it would become less than energizing.
