I'm very tempted to re-drill my Volkl Aurora skis mounting position back 1cm. Its a fun ski and it rips like crazy but I'm NOT your typical "woman" skier. I have had to catch myself from face-planting SEVERAL times and have almost done a summer salt. I know this is happening because I'm a forward skier and I'm TOO forward for the factory mount position. This was my first "womens" ski, I have ALWAYS skied mens skis since I'm very aggressive (in my opinion). I really like the Aurora but I now wish I just went with the AC50.
Does anyone know about moving the mounting position? I've been looking at heli-coils and inserts but not 100% sure what would be best. If it doesn't work out like I want I'm just going to move the bindings back to factory and sell them, as my last resort.
The toe and heel pieces do not move on this model of ipt Wideride 12.0, 2010/2011. I have also asked the Volkl/ Marker rep but he didn't know any information that I didn't already know.
