Free Mountain is just a name for the Bushwacker, Bonafide, Cochise, Bodacious line of skis. Kind of combining freeskiing with all mountain.
The "Free Mountain" skis are more geared for off trail skiing where as the "all mountain" skis are geared slightly more for on trail skiing. Those words don't necessarily define anything it's just a bit of a generalization/marketing.
Just base your decision on waste width. Some people consider 98mm to be wide and only for off trail skiing where as some consider 98mm to be skinny and only good for carving groomers. Just depends on your needs.
