Binding reccomendations please

About to go in on some 188cm Experience 98's and need some binding recommendations.  Should I just get Pivot 12 or 14s and not look back?  Thanks!

If you can afford them, FKS/Pivot 18s are the best binding you can buy. The Experience seems like a charger, and the FKS is as burly a binding as they come. If not, the Salomon / Atomic STH/FFG 16 bindings are super bomber. I avoid Marker like the plague, seen too many break. The lower end Rossi bindings without the pivot heel are garbage. If you go Solly or Atomic, make sure you get the Driver toe, the Z toe is also terrible. Spend the money, get a binding that will last.

EDIT- The Pivot/FKS 12 & 14 are both solid choices, but the Axial toe is not as durable as the one found on the 18 din clamps.

Be aware the the Pivot 18's DIN STARTS @ 10 and goes to 18. You did not list your weight, boot sole length, age or skier type so a DIN setting of 10 my not be suitable to your needs.

The Look/Rossi PX 14/15 Racing is another great option @ around half the cost of the Pivot if you shop carefully.

Never had an issue with the Axial Toe. The PX style heel piece loosens up over time for me even on a pair of PX15 I had.

The Pivot style heel is bomber though and I have never had one loosen up.
