I generally like my boots. They're very snug, comfortable. Without the liner there's 4/16 of an inch of space between my heel and the back of the shell. I can fit one pen behind my heel, nothing more, while my toe is lightly touching the shell without the liner.
The problem is my left toe is getting very bad blisters after skiing. Many times when skiing for a day, I feel that if only my boots could be just a few hairs bigger I could have more comfort without sacrificing performance.
Generally, throughout the day the boots gets looser and feel good, but I'm just sick of having to do 3 or 4 runs down the mountain before my foot stops throbbing. And I'm sick of the blister on my left toe.
So does it sound like there's hope for my situation? Even if it's just the left boot they stretch a hair or two I'd love it. What would that cost in the New York State, Catskills area?
p.s. I've already gotten custom footbeds, when the ones that came with the boots wore out and started sending my toes forward. The new footbeds work nicely but still I want the left boot a bit bigger.
