Any good Bluetooths for skiing/snowboarding?

Thread Starter

I mostly relied on iphone earphone/mics to listen to music and call on slopes, but it's pretty much useless with gloves on. Plus, for some reason, I always pull them out accidentally which gets real annoying. I thought about getting regular bluetooth headsets, but turns out it disagrees with my helmet(can't seem to get it to fit). I go skiing and snowboarding every week so I'm looking for a nice helmet compatible bluetooth headset. If you think you have one, please please please let me know. Thanks.

P.S the one that didn't fit properly is a jawbone bluetooth. i don't care how good or bad it is, it just falls off. And I'm not planning on getting built-in helmets since I like to rotate designs.

And also, if someone's tried the SENA SPH10S, I'd like to hear about it, it seems new, but apparently I can't get enough info.

I will be testing the Sena shortly. Right now the UClear 210 is the leader in the clubhouse.

Sennheiser MM100.  I used them everyday and fit under most helmets.  The buttons work with my gloves.

I agree that the UClear HBC120 is the best out there. It fits most helmets and has a boomless mic, which is nice.  I actually just started working with them, and would definitely still recommend it either way because it's still a stellar product.  They use military technology, so the quality is good and you can connect to your phone and listen to music (exactly what I was looking for). I actually use it in my office too...it's pretty versatile.  If you want to check it out, they are available at http://www.uclearstore.com.  Hopefully we'll finally get some good snow in SoCal this weekend so I can use it again. **Praying for snow**  :)

Good luck!  I'd love to know what you think if you try it out!

I just saw a press release for the Sena, so it is brand new. I doubt there will be any reviews on it. Here's some background info:

I believe they'll be at Outdoor Retailer in SLC and probably SIA later this month.

I will be taking the SENA SPH10S out over the next couple of days...In the initial testing the sound quality is good and the controls are excellent. I will be doing a side by side comparison shortly.
